New patients are seen by appointment only at the end of normal Surgery sessions. Dr Newgrosh interviews all new patients to inform of the services offered by this Practice, to discover health care needs, to collect details of medications, allergies and past illnesses and to conduct a full medical examination (including urine test).
The GP is the hardest working practitioner in Bolton and this is a very busy Practice. At times of excessive demand it may be necessary to operate a ‘waiting list’ system for new patients. Priority will be given to those who do not have a GP in Great Lever.
The GP does not prescribe alcohol to alcoholics nor drugs of misuse to drug addicts.
For the purpose of accepting new patients, the Practice Area is restricted to Great Lever. Existing patients who live outside the Practice Area will continue to be cared for as before providing they do not move house. Those who intend to move outside the Practice Area should consult the
Practice to see if we can continue to care for you. The GP reserves the right to remove patients from his List if they have moved outside the Practice Area.
